8-month-old baby boy stolen from his cot by woman who had 3 miscarriages (photos)
A woman in Cape Town, Miranda Julies, who was left traumatized after three miscarriages has stolen her neighbour’s eight month old baby boy.
When she arrived at her mother’s house with another person’s child the mother instantly called the police. The mother expressed that her daughter might have ‘snapped’ after suffering three miscarriages

The child has been returned to the mother
Her mother, Gina Julies, said: “She is still hurt and broken about the miscarriages, because she never received counselling. I know in my heart she isn’t a woman who will take a child from its mother, but rather, she would shower that baby with love and attention."
“The last one was 18 years ago, I cannot remember if it was a boy or a girl. During the last miscarriage, she carried the dead baby in her arms to the police station. It was too much for her."

The 37-year-old's mother further added that many people criticized her for call the police on her daughter after she found out she had stolen the baby.
She said: “Many people criticise me (for calling the police on her) but I am a mother and I only did what is expected from a mother. The child belongs with his rightful parents.”
“At 5.30pm, my daughter arrived at my home with Lucus, he looked well, and was clean.”
Reports indicate that the woman stole her neighbour’s baby after asking the child’s grandmother permission to show the child to people on the streets.
